My Graduation, My Dream
In every beginning comes an end and
in every journey comes a time when one should go to the next level.
I’ve
been studying in my Alma matter for eleven years yet I never experience a graduation
ceremony, where in parents come to watch you get your diploma, pin your ribbon
or help you wear your medal. I can still remember I was in 6th grade
when the director of our school announced that the 6th grade on that
year will not have a graduation ceremony. I think that was because of some changes in
rules of the Department of Education. They said it was better that way because the
parents can save money and graduation ceremonies are just formalities. We can
still proceed to high school even if we don’t have a graduation ceremony.
It has been eleven years and now I’m a 4th
year high school student. This coming March 19, 2012 is my first ever
experience of a graduation ceremony. Some of classmates were not excited ‘cause
it’s their 3rd time to do it. It’s my first time experiencing it so I’m
really nervous and excited. I can't wait for that day.
